We preach repentance from Sin is the only way to Salvation in Christ, to be “born again”, without which it is impossible to see or understand its significance. “My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.” 1 John 2:1
Outreach into the community is a basic requirement of our faith, both serving and preaching the Gospel “And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.” Luke 14:23
We preach Baptism in water as essential for obedience, representing death to the old self and resurrection in Christ – commitment for all to see. We have a built-in Baptistry pool. We believe that Baptism in the Holy Spirit is essential to receive power for service in spiritual gifts. “But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you.” Acts 1:8a
We support Israel and the Jews, recognising that Jesus was a Jew and will return as a Jew. “Blindness in part has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in. And so all Israel will be saved… when I take away their sins.” Romans 11:25-27 (abbreviated).
We believe in the power of prayer and divine healing – body soul and spirit – and that the gifts given at Pentecost are alive today including the use of speaking in tongues, their interpretation and prophesy. Our beliefs can be seen in full in the AOG tenets of faith
